The Great State of Tennessee

NARFE
Our Mission has been and is to preserve and protect the earned benefits of federal employees and retirees since 1921

Rhonda Mooney
Federation President

Welcome to the Tennessee Federation. We are a subsidiary of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE); the only association devoted to protecting the pay, pensions and benefits of federal workers, retirees and their survivors. If you are receiving or expect to receive a federal retirement annuity, you should join us as a member and help support NARFE’s tireless advocacy efforts.

NARFE works with Congress on the national level and with the state legislatures to support or oppose legislation on behalf of more than five million federal workers, retirees and their survivors. In it’s more than 90 year history NARFE has become a highly respected voice for the federal family and is commonly recognized as the best advocacy organization on Capitol Hill.

On these pages you will find information about the Tennessee Federation and our 24 NARFE chapters that represent approximately 86,000 federal workers, retirees and survivors in Tennessee. If you are a NARFE member, but not part of a local chapter, then we encourage you to become part of the chapter in your area and work together to strenghen our goals. Our goal here is to make this website useful and informative whether you are a NARFE member or a visitor. As you explore these pages, if you have questions or need additional information, feel free to contact a chapter in your area or any of our federation officers.

Every federal worker, retiree, spouse and survivor should belong to NARFE. This is the most effective way we can work together to protect our earned benefits. If you are a current member, tell other potential members about NARFE and invite them to join. If you are not yet a member, please click on the “JOIN US” tab above and complete your application today.
